Shoebox Diorama

We live in a shoebox diorama, our ear drums perforated by shrieking radio waves. We sip atmospheric stew as we walk in our mummified skin that preserves us for another decade.
If we peeked at the deep we would drop dead, so rather we exist as melting birthday candles wishing to be blown out.
